Kevin Josephina was the Braves' second highest profile international signing the same year they signed Albies (I think Albies bonus was $350,000 and Josephina's $300,000) and some thought Josephina was only a step behind Albies. Injuries and inconsistency have plagued Josephina, but he's still only 20 and is off to a decent start in Rome. Brings home 2 with a double in the 2nd tonight.

I've enjoyed watching Josephina this year. Looks like some stuff is clicking. Maybe he can take some steps forward. Will be interested to see which unheralded guys at DSL, GCL, and Danville will open eyes this year. So many times unexpected young guys end up really bringing it (Acuna)

Ventura turning into another one of those guys. Was intrigued by Concepcion also but he's struggling now

Pache and Cruz really disappointing so much this far. Tons of K's for Cruz. Tough considering how heralded it they were. But still extremely young and aggressively promoted

Touki has just given up so many HRs this year.

Still with the 5 K and 1 BB through 3. It's so bizarre, he is doing what we wanted him to do, keeping the K's up and really bringing down the BBs...yet he's getting hammered.

Touki has improved so much this year... like remarkably when it comes to walks and K's... how the heck does that translate into such a worse performance

Don't know. His xFIP suggests that he's been unlucky and perhaps the recipient of some poor fielding...but it hasn't affected Gohara. His HR rate is up, which will obviously lead to fewer hits per run allowed.

I don't know. But I have to believe if he keeps this up, the results will start to show in hits and runs allowed.

That's my hope also. It's not just homers though. He's giving up a ton of hits period

Acuna and Jackson both with bombs. How long before Jackson starts getting serious buzz?

I'm already very buzzed about Jackson. He could be our most important prospect with such a need at C. Also reports are that he's improving his D at catcher very quickly. Sorry for chipchildress though
