Joe Simpson can say some idiotic things at times. Just talked about how the Reds were having a letdown at Cubs after sweeping the Cards this weekend. Problem is the Reds played the Dodgers. The Cards played the Pirates.
 
It'll be interesting to see how Medlen and Minor do in the playoffs. They don't have the big rep, but they're in pretty good form. Teheran too will be interesting to watch.

This. The only thing of importance right now is getting the best record. But, let's face it, that doesn't make for a lot of drama.
 
I am taking the GRE in the next few weeks in hopes of starting my masters program in the spring. I have been a slacker for too many years and need to get this next degree started
 
Ayala just doesn't impress me with his stuff. When he gets people out they are mostly getting themselves out. Hard to understand how he gets the 8th inning. Walden and Downs must still be hurt.
