7/9 GDT: Atlanta Braves (42-44) vs. Washington Nationals (51-36)

As I predicted after his first start, everyone is now down on Newcomb now that the results are in line with how he's pitching.

He's doing exactly what he was doing in all his good starts, but he no longer has the advantage of being unknown. Guys know he is a 2 pitch guy, and they are teeing off.

He needs to get that change working and tighten up the command, or he will be a BP arm.

Newk is basically the same pitcher as folty but LH. He's just gonna have to take his lumps and figure it out.

Had shoulder problems required surgery so gave it up. I assure you I know more about the game than you keyboard cowboy.

lol except I actually played D1 ball at University of the Pacific.

I'm sure you were much better though. That injury likely derailed a budding professional career lol!

Joe Simpson is great evidence that playing the game is not commensurate with knowing the game.

Not that I know **** myself—but just saying.

We're gonna make Ross look like Orel hershiser. Meanwhile they'll treat Newcomb like jon Lester facing the pirates

He's most likely a BP guy, but the Bravos should give him 20-30 starts. I would imagine his pitching coaches in the minors have worked with him on a change and it hasn't happened yet. I would guess he'll throw a lot of them in spring training.

I mean he's right and I was wrong. I just figured since Markakis has zero shot to get the runner at home he may have been able to keep the runners at first and second. Or at least hit a cut off man. Sadly his arm would barely play at the HS level in RF.

Hitting the cut is right because it's right. I just thought it was funny he decided to throw around his impressive HS baseball career as evidence of his authority on the matter lol

Speaking of your great predictions, enscheff... what's Adams' ops now?

Haha you were just waiting for a couple good games from him to type that weren't you? You were oddly silent for the 2 weeks his OPS was plummeting 15 points every game.

Don't worry msstake7, he isn't done normalizing yet. Let's revisit at the trade deadline, mmkay?

The guy admitted he was wrong, you are just cementing that you're a fool and have insecurity issues. Ill pray for you.

So it's above .850? Lol

The funny part was you throwing your incredible HS baseball career around to make yourself the authority on an OFer hitting the cutoff man lol.

Sorry you hurt your shoulder tho bud. Same excuse every guy that wasn't worth a **** on the field uses haha.
