The Trump Presidency

Economy is strong
Illegal border crossings are down
Tougher stance on Islamic extends
Wall is in the early stages
Obamacare will crash and burn

And that's just the first 6 months.

Exactly! Meaning nothing. Except get himself in trouble with virtually all decent people on the planet.

And there are blue lights flashing in his rearview.

Awww....trump offends people by telling them what they need to hear. My word we have become so soft.

I highly approve of his decision to end the arming of Syrian rebels.

I assume my friends on the left would as well... But I haven't heard a peep out of them

The left has to decide what they stand for.

Do they want illegals or a better life for African Americans since illegals disproportionatey take opportunities away from afRican americans.

Are they pro feminist and gay rights or will they allow more and more Muslims in this country and become like Europe.

The way I see it a large portion of the left doesn't have their own stances. Their stance is to be against what thenrepublicans/conservatives stand for.

only thing i know they stand for is tax cuts for rich people

seriously, that's it

Where have I heard that before? Great talking point. What do tax cuts do for those that provide jobs?

If the law wasn't good (it wasn't), the Dems shouldn't have passed it. Obama shouldn't have signed it.

The dems are doing the exact same thing now.

It's a joke of a system we have.

We need a 3rd party in the worst way

We need five or six parties.

Enriches them, and not their employees. Studies show tax-cut windfall disproportionately is saved (or self re-invested, to phrase it more accurately), not spent (hence: trickle-down is a farce).

I've been for staying out of Syria, militarily, from the beginning.

Now if we could just stop funding and arming Israel and Saudi Arabia ...

Trump also wants tax cuts for ALL Americans... but that never gets talked about.

So if tax cuts enrich rich people, I would assume they would have the same effect for non-rich people?

And companies with lower taxes can hire more people, invest in new technology, or reward shareholders with buybacks or dividends.

Oh, the horror!

I don't believe it needs to be fair. All I know is that I end up getting higher percentage raises. My company expands which provides more room for growth via a promotion.

Oh, the horror!

The few and rich don't depend on the services that tax-cuts defund. Everyone else does. Cutting lower-middle classes taxes just so they can pay more for things that were previously subsidized or freely available is not a net benefit.

I, on the other hand, believe in fairness, and think that's more important than whether I personally "end up getting higher percentage raises".

Subsidized make things more expensive.

I don't see how putting more money in the hands of people is a bad thing... especially when it was money that they earned, and is theirs, before it's confiscated for services that mostly inefficient and unnecessary

Everyone understand's this but they can't talk about it or else the dem base might realize voting for higher taxes negatively impacts them.
