Fried came out after only two perfect innings and just 18 pitches. Hope it's not more blister problems.

Ruiz... wow. What a streak he's been on. Still a smidgeon of hope he turns into a useful big league piece.

Ruiz is probably going to have a 10+ year career. Might be as a bench player but probably gets some extended playing time on some bad teams. I think they need to start working on some position versatility with him. He needs to learn 1B and the OF corners. Maybe even get a look at 2B and SS to be emergency backups for those positions.

Third base is harder than corner outfield and first. He just needs some reps there next spring. Its very useful to have a left-handed hitter with some pop on the bench. I guess Adams can fill that role next year. But beyond that it could be Ruiz.

Touki seems to have lost the control he was showing last month.

His previous start in Chattanooga he walked seven in five innings but was nearly unhittable (two hits) and got the unlikely win.

Riley has been on a tear. His defense has gotten better this year to.

Yup - He is forcing his way into the Braves 2019 plans which is great because I think we are going to see Camargo and/or Ruiz in an extended role to bridge to that point.

I didn't see any report on why he came out so early

I would bet it is to control his innings. I think he will be back up Friday and they will use him in the pen. you had guys like Colementer and Krol also tossing a inning or so. This seemed like a very planned rotation to get these guys some work.
