So far tigers and mets have let go of their managers. A lot more changes to come.

Tigers will interview Fredi Gonzalez for their open manager spot on Thursday.

Also, Jeter said the marlins will be making moves and not everyone will like them...trading Stanton?

I think an enterprising insurance agent would be in contact with all of the Tigers' relief pitchers if Fredi gets the job in Detroit.

The should get John Farrell to coach first base, Washington third base, Brad Ausmus bench coach and maybe that way we can find a manager in between all those managers.

This is interesting because they need to keep him on the 40 man to receive insurance payments.

Would have to go back and check, but I think they're no longer responsible for paying anything to Hamilton - would offset some of the money due Fielder.

John Farrell fired in Boston.

Kinda doubt he'd take a step back, but he'd be an interesting name to consider asking to get involved with our young arms in some capacity. During his time as their Pitching Coach he dealt with Beckett (when he was 26), Lester (when he was 22), Papelbon (when he was 25), Buchholz (when he was 22), and Matsuzaka (when he was transitioning to the U. S.).

Even though he hasn't been part of a full-scale rebuild, he appears to have handled integrating young players well (Bogaerts, Betts, Bradley, Benintendi, and Devers) and handling high-ceiling Pitchers (Price, Sale, Porcello during a Cy Young campaign, and Pomeranz) as a Manager as well if they somehow were willing to backtrack on Snit.

Tony LaRussa is out of Arizona...says he has talked with other teams....

He was the last dinosaur in that FO and tactfully pushed out by the new 21st century management.

I have no doubt the Braves will have interest in bringing him on board. He can team up with Glavine, Snit, Weiss and the entire broadcast crew to make sure OBP is NEVER displayed on the scoreboard. Then the Braves FO can continue drawing charcoal figures on the walls in ignorant bliss, mindlessly chanting, "Braves Way, Braves Way, Braves Way", while the rest of the league continues to modernize and pass them by.

Barves Way!!

TP and Perez are out as coaches for the Braves....Weiss likely to take over as bench coach, Hernandez likely to keep his job (absolutely should not, im holding out hope he's going to be let go)

Porter
Washington
Weiss

The Braves are collecting former managers nobody else wants to lead their club. They have clearly found a new market inefficiency to exploit.

Barves Way!

The Braves were supposed to be looking for a bench coach that was analytically savvy. Weiss was fired from Colorado because he was not analytically savvy:

http://www.coloradoan.com/story/spo...-rockies-manager-replace-walt-weiss/91545426/

"Bridich is a former catcher and outfielder and a graduate of Harvard, who is very much about analytics and baseball in the 21st century. According to several baseball people and close observers of the team, the fact that Weiss isn’t is largely why he is no longer the manager in Colorado. "

The Rockies replaced Weiss with Bud Black, and improved from 75 wins in 2016 to 87 wins in 2017.

So what the **** are the morons in charge of the Braves doing? They are literally assembling the dumbest leadership team in MLB. Unreal.
