I guess that's an improvement over the Armageddon we were promised?

When the Republican candidates are campaigning in the 2018 elections they better make sure they tell all those families struggling to make ends meat that the Dems think 1k and wage increases are crumbs. This is worse than HRC's deplorables remark.

Ignoring wage increases and ignoring less withholding. Pelosi is out of touch with just how much of an impact this has on everyday Americans while she lives in a million dollar home.

That seems like a common problem among a lot of Dems. They are just out of tune with the majority of Americans that don't live in huge city hubs. It lost them the election before and it will again if they keep it up.

The fact that some on the left were complaining about the nerfing of SALT proves they have no interest in helping the constituency they claim they support.

Make sense about what? The majority of Americans outside of big city hubs do not share the same views as most democrats. The idea that the increase for some is just "crumbs and pathetic" is out of touch with most of the people I described above. To these people it helps make a difference. Further alienation will not help their cause.
 
Nancy Pelosi has used her position as a "public servant" to enrich herself far better than any other politician that comes to mind. But she's complaining about tax cuts. Remarkable.
