FWIW, it's easy to understand not being jazzed about being on the investigation if you were a careerist. Way too much downside, especially if you didn't think the case was strong enough.

Mills/Abedin made factually inaccurate statements in the FBI. Do you need to be reminded of those?

When I spoke of the texts it was to show a deep bias against Trump and clear favortsm towards HRC. This fevered rage to 'get' Trump was pervasive throughout the top levels of the FBI and Obamas DOJ. That is why unmaskings spiked exponentially at the end of Obamas term before the inauguration. They wanted to find something wrong but really more nefariously they needed to find something wrong.

The bias was clearly on the team when you denied its obvious genesis of campaign donations. You are trying to wordsmith your way out of this. There was no collusion. There never was. You ate it up happily and now you have egg on your face.

And I made a clear case, several times, why your bias argument is legally and logically a non-starter. You'll have to find some basis that it compromised the investigation and resulted in wrongdoing if your fundamental argument is that the investigation is compromised. I've explained this all before, you've just refused to accept it or respond to it.

Regardless of outcome, there's more than enough basis for the investigation. You can believe that all the Trump folks are innocent of any criminality and still be honest enough to cop to that.

They said they were not aware of the server when subsequent e-mail reviews showed that they did. What is the explanation this is not a lie? Did they 'forget'?

He was rabid and was even pimping his 'insurance policy'. The fact that you continue to have this stance that this extreme bias would not impact an investigation when so much discretion is given to an investigator is beyond me. Its your willful ignorance because you realize just how wrong you were. I'm sorry I can't find you X was done differently than a control person in a fictitious world. You are just being obtuse when deep down you know bias existed and it always did exist.

There is not more than enough for the investigation. Simpson didn't even want to go to the FBI because he didn't think so. The whole argument was, "Trump spent time and did business with Russians...ergo collusion. It was a weak attempt to undermine this presidency with the hopes he wouldn't search inside the dirty closet that will now be open full force.
 
There obviously needs to be some 'reach' here because we are in the opening stages of an investigation that may take years. I don't expect you guys to agree with it but Obama is a villain to many of us for the choices that he made on the domestic/foreign front. Very unamerican IMO.

Don't underestimate his sheer arrogance. These people never thought they would get caught. They thought HRC was going to win. Who knows how many overzealous illegal things were done.

Now if you want to say politically it's a stupid decision to go after Obama I leven if he's guilty then I could see your point.

Let me rephrase: we may find stuff on Obama but he’ll never get called out on it. The media loves him. The blacks love him.

I didn't at first, but grew to have a deep respect for him and the way he went did his job. That respect has not waned while watching the current President flounder from his own shortcomings of character and ability.

Of course, Obama and the FBI had their eyes on the Trump/Russia connections and the possible attack on the election. They would have been derelict in their duty had they not.

Ok. Change the channel and you can't throw a rock without hitting a former US Attorney who is saying something diametrically opposed. Either way it's not really the "former" types that matter.
