Las Vegas (CNN)In addition to his frequent forays into casinos and gun shops, Las Vegas strip killer Stephen Paddock took 20 cruises, many of them in Europe and the Middle East, investigators have learned.

The cruises included stops at ports in Spain, Italy, Greece, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, according to information provided by a law enforcement source who asked not to be identified because the source was not authorized to share information about the investigation. Paddock's girlfriend, Marilou Danley, accompanied him on nine of the cruises.

Obviously this tragedy can be read as part of the fight for Catalonian independence.

This case is beyond bizarre. They can’t figure out the timeline. No motive.

The investigation looks more incompetent as time goes on. The timeline changes, the disappearance of the security guard, the lack of motive, the failure to secure the residence that was burglarized. It's baffling.

I agree with Geraldo on the security guard. If he opens his mouth it could very well put some responsibility on the hotel and it’ll be hit with massive lawsuits. The security guard is being kept away

My belief is that they do not want to cause mass manic. If the mass public knew of hoe many terror cells are operating in the US there would be a lot of unrest

It doesn't add up. Government doesn't pass up many opportunities to increase their surveillance and take away our privacy.

At the same time, there are several factors in this thing that make it very fertile ground for conspiracy theories. I don't know. The whole thing is just bizarre.

That's the main reason I support sealing the border. A wall isn't going to stop anyone. We need to bring out troops home and put them on the border. With the way Canada is going we might need to do that to the northern border too. One thing I find very amusing is when people crotisize the cost of a wall. We spend like 600 billion soon to be 700 billion a year on the military to kill civilians in other countries which makes us hell of a lot less safe but 50 billion to actually provide some national defense is seen as expensive.

Neighbor reported that the shooter was away form his home for 6 months last year. Wonder where he went.

Not sure how credible but some outlets are reporting that the shooter had ISIS and antiFA material in the hotel room.
