It's in plain English here. The Papadopulous information triggered the opening of the investigation, not the dossier. Do I have to go back through this entire thread and find the numerous times it was stated on here that the dossier started this whole party?

The inference is that 'the information' on Papadopoulos was obtained via the Page surveillance (incidental collection, perhaps).
 
Russian hack is such a blatant misnomer.

I am fine with stating Russian influenced, but hack has other implications.
 
I'll wait on those apologies calling me crazy for saying how important the dossier was to this whole equation.

Yeah, I don't think it's a coincidence. It's presumably the difference between a relevant bit of probative info and an outright falsehood. That's a place where any ambiguity speaks ill of the authors' intent.

is it just me or are there other people here that think it’s a good thing for citizens to question the motives and integrity of the FBI and CIA?
