Subtext here is that she apparently lied to Congress about her knowledge of l'affaire Flynn.

For l'affaire Flynn to have supposedly been based on an FBI lie, she gives up so easily.
 
So clearly Rosenstein is part of a deep state cabal. Right? Nominated by Trump on Sessions' recommendation. Does that make Trump and Sessions deep staters? Does the memo establish malfeasance on Rosenstein's part?

Why stop there? How about tax returns? Information about who helped write Nunes' memo. Who he visited in his infamous late night trip to the White House. What they discussed. I'm a big fan of transparency. We all are apparently.

Yes. Sessions is a Deep Stater for deceiving Trump and for recusing himself from an investigation he was a part of and quite possibly could be a target of.

Yes there was malfeasance from Rosenstein because he's "the Democrat from Baltimore."

It seems to me that if the memo is in fact correct in citing McCabe to the effect that the FISA on Page would not have been requested absent the dossier, we are still left with a so what? It does not imo change any of the publicly available information that forms the basis for Mueller's investigation.

Moreover, if any of Mueller's evidence is tainted in any way (which the memo does not provide me any reason to believe) the relevant parties will have their day in court.

On this we agree. Page is a peripheral figure though an entertainingly enigmatic one. Inner circle only to the extent Pluto is inner circle to anything.

I would like to know what he was up to in Budapest. But that is about #87 on the list of things I would like to know about this entire matter.

Well that's just not good enough. It should have been disclosed that Steele was being paid both by right wing Republicans and the Clinton campaign. In the interests of full transparency. Which we are all fully in favor of.

I'm just going to pose "Bigger than Watergate" against "material omissions of fact" and let reasonable people decide.
 
Not exactly but there are numerous holes to poke in it as has been pointed out. And it undercuts the far-right narrative of the past few months about this whole thing being based off the dossier. If one bothers to pay attention to timelines, they'll realize it.
