Its just a small detail that I find interesting. It might mean something. It might mean nothing.

I give hint: it has to do with the circumstances under which he was placed under arrest.
 
The main "German connection" as I see it goes through Deutsche.

There is a second connection that is out there, but it is not peculiarly German. It has to do with the initial sources of information on ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Allied intelligence services including the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and the Baltics. The Dutch apparently had a mole within one of the hacking groups.

I'm a bit surprised Rosenstein hasn't had to recuse himself as a potential witness. Brand's replacement is at some point going to be Mueller's supervisor.

It was dropped. But as I understand it (and I'm not a lawyer) a FB account might be regarded as a matter of law as an electronic document. And altering any document in an attempt to impede an investigation is illegal. Might be the same legal reasoning that might get Hope Hicks into trouble if she really did say that Trump Junior's email about the adoption lawyer would never get out.
 
I wonder why he would make a deal to cooperate and plead to the charge. This just makes it sound more like they had him lined up for more.
 
i guess Comey is back to being trusted since it fits the narrative
