GDT: gNats @ Braves Game 1 4/2

Was never sold on him either. Has a 95+ fastball as flat as snake nuts and a good curve..

He has supposedly developed this 3rd pitch but whatever. Fckn starter that has a two pitch arsenal. Fck outta here.

Chris archer pretty much 2-pitch pitcher. Has thrown fastball and slider 95.6% of the time during this career

I had a pretty good feeling that Jose Ramirez was not going to have a good year based off of last year's peripherals. They were very meh.

Freeman, Minter, and Vizcaino are pretty good but after that it's kind of iffy on who's good and who's not.

Ramirez looks like a guy who should have a very high K/9 to go along with the walks. But he doesn’t. Don’t get it.

Hey Ramirez....Stop throwing your fckn change up.

Why all the love for the change up tonight. Not just Ramirez but Newk and some from Sanchez.

If the Braves are going to learn to throw a change up, remind me why Hernandez was hired replacing McDo-well?

Not a good start, but this is his 2nd appearance this season. Not ready to judge his 2018 season on 2 appearances

Maybe Chip will get it when we go to Miami.

I was on yay and he was on yay,
In this ballpark by the sea,
But we made pitch with a pitch that was more than a pitch—
I and my Anibal Leads—
With a pitch that the learnèd GMs of SABR
Coveted him and me.

We had a quad level team last year and we had a decent increase in attendance over the previous year even with a price increase with the seats.

Because the newness factor.

Every new stadium experiences it. A fairly competitive team would have done fine at the TED. I am interested to see how the Braves did in the first year of their new park compared to the last 10 teams that opened a new stadium.

A state of the art stadium in a better location with a nice strip mall is going to outdo a 20 year old stadium in the bad side of town in the long run. The move was smart.
