I don't know if Sims will ever amount to anything or not, but if they were planning on moving him to the bullpen, he should have logged more innings in Gwinnett out of the bullpen.

There seems to be a trend of thinking guys can go from starting to bullpen with no preparation. Its a completely different job that requires a different strategy.

I know AA already wasted 1 million on Peter Bourjos but keeping him when he clearly is a bust on both offense and defense now makes no sense. Thankfully he will be DFA'd as soon as Acuna is ready if not before hand.
