GDT--5/25-- FRIDAY AT Red Sox

Only thing that makes sense to me is AA is telling to Snit to find opportunities to showcase Wisler for a trade...

But I'm afraid putting him this spot could only yield the opposite effect

But when you think about it though, it does make sense to have our last guy in the bullpen come in to face the league's best offense's 1-5 hitters, especially considering everyone is rested

in a one-run game

the list of better options is long: leave Biddle in, bring in any of Winkler, Carle, Moylan.

I understand saving Winkler for later innings or games we are tied or ahead. Still leaves 3 superior options vs Betts.

Other things to consider. Wisler is a fly ball pitcher. This is Fenway. Betts hits home runs. Carle and Moylan are tough on righties. Moylan keeps the ball on the ground. You don't need a super computer to process these things.

Yea, even if that’s the case, Snitker clearly doesn’t know how to execute such a directive. Deploying him how he did tonight only showcases his weaknesses.

Only thing that won't bother me about this incoming collapse is that snit and chuckie will be gone with the wind

I guess the extra run at least means the Braves won’t see Kimbrel, barring a comeback stew brewing?

Edit: Guess not. Good luck, batters.

Honestly... I never wanna hear about people saying young kids are ready at age 20 due to a few hot weeks in minor leagues.

Wisler's fastball-slider combo should work out of the pen. Problem is he throws way, way too many non-competitive pitches.
