It's hard to tell with him whether there's really something wrong or if he's just showing his normal petulance when he doesn't agree with a particular ump's strike zone. As Braves fans, we see that a lot.

From the time he got on the mound really, it hasn't looked like he's been very interested in pitching in the heat. He's working even faster as he doesn't want to be out there.

It’s pretty easy to tell today that it’s physical discomfort; even in the on-deck circle he looked gassed.
 
Would be very surprised if Folty makes it through the 5th without giving up runs. Got to give him the chance. Got to go to the pen after that.

Fifth just ended; one hit, three walks, no runs, nine strikeouts. That’s a damn good start under duress, even if it’s all he’s got.
 
Having pitched in Atlanta and for Houston, you'd think he'd be better conditioned to deal with the heat in St. Louis today.

It definitely looks like he's completely gassed through five and can't imagine his going any deeper in this one.
 
Folty's at 86 pitches through 5, i think he can go 1 more then pray.
