Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

This could lead to an interesting scenario. There is a good chance that the Russians arrest an American in response to Butina's arrest.

Tremendous summary and take from Tucker Carlson

"As the rage storm swirled, the President bowed to the inevitable, genuflecting before U.S. intelligence agencies whose judgment must never be questioned and citing the now obligatory oath of loyalty to the spy bureaucrats now in charge of our country."

What a twit.

Oh lord. Really?

I’d think that it wouldn’t be too hard to accept the blindingly obvious conclusions about Russia’s activity in the 2016 election without granting unlimited credibility or swearing fealty to the American intelligence apparatus. It’s a similar little rhetorical trick to what you’re trying to pull—thinking Trump’s actions toward Russia, and vice versa, stink to high heaven = supporting imperialism, opposing peace, and supporting the goo-goo idea that we’re gonna go to war with Russia. It’s facile, brittle logic, and dumb besides.

Trump walked back his comments (including the laughable assertion that he misspoke) not out of fear of the Deep State, but because they went even beyond what his usual hallelujah chorus—outside a couple of FNC hosts—were willing to swallow. No more, no less.

And, wow...show us the evidence? They just did. A dozen Russian intelligence operatives were just indicted for the hacks and dissemination of the material. The server thing is a pure red herring, and you must certainly be savvy enough to know that.

Tucker Carlson (who, despite turning coat pretty quickly) supported the invasion of Iraq. I mean, hell, I’m glad to see someone in that venue saying unequivocally that the Iraq war and the continuing action in Afghanistan were/are mistakes, but this is a transparent and pitiful rear-guard action to try to defend the indefensible w/r/t Trump. That’s without even approaching the “Latin American countries attacking us by changing our demographics” nativist twaddle.

Really, this is D+ work.

lol

imagine looking to Tucker Carlon for any take on anything and thinking "tremendous"

dudes mug shows up when you look up the definition of a hack

So he's known since before the election that there was proof of unprecedented Russian manipulation, and seen the proof himself. Every time he spoke or tweeted the words "witch hunt" or "fake media" he was knowingly lying to protect himself and an enemy of America.

facts can be highly inconvenient...and some people simply refuse to adapt to them

“They just forgot to report the meetings with Russians.

"Trump supporters 3 days ago:
"Who cares if the Trump campaign colluded with Russia? ( I got a couple hundred $ tax break)

“Trump supporters yesterday:
“It’s Obama’s fault for not stopping the meetings with Russians.

“Trump’s lawyer Jay Sekulow today:
“It’s the Secret Service’s fault for not stopping the meeting with Russians.

“Trump supporters tomorrow:
“Трамп собирается сделать Россию великой снова!” (Trump is going to make Russia great again)

How does that support collusion?

Your consistent shtick with me lately is taking any point I make and just disregarding it as dumb. Gets old.

I'll address the rest of this when off mobile as well as the other thread
