I don’t care if Freeman gets his panties in a wad or not but he needs a break. If him and Markakis had been hitting the past few weeks we would be a lot further ahead of the Phillies right now.
 
I keep thinking Freeman has to be hurt. With the way his power has vanished and how many weak outs he's had, just makes me think something is sore.

He should sit a game or 2 then. He's been pretty bad offensively the 2nd half for a 1b. He isn't helping the braves win

I think it’s pressure. He’s veteran and captain of a team that’s in contention...I think he’s better suited as the other guy or a guy that doesn’t want the responsibility.

I wasn't able to watch a large portion of yesterday's game but didn't he make a game defining error in that one? Hard to argue that he doesn't need some time off especially when we have a credible option with Duda.
 
I still think twitners biggest blunder thus far is not giving Neck and FF two days off durning that marathon run. Both guys didn’t have the all star break to mentally unwind and relax. And now you played them into exhaustion. A day off now won’t really help. You just have to ride them into the playoffs and hope they can string a few hits together. Then rest on the off days padded in. Really a shame when every idiot on this board was clamoring to give them days off. Even playing them both games of double headers. No excuse imo.
 
freddie obviously needs a day off.
the bigger thing that sucks about him not getting one so far is that when he does get one, it doesn't seem likely he'll get many more. he should be sitting every couple of weeks.

I am losing faith in Gohara but I don't want him pitching against us a lot.

Wright and others are untouchable to me and McCarthy, bless his wife, Teheran and Sanchez are not the future.
