Unfortunately, it did not end up the way we wanted or expected. Another heartbreaking playoff series defeat.
We had chances and we couldn't come up with the big pitch or big hit when we really needed.
I want to say thank you to all from the very bottom of my heart for making this a very enjoyable season at Chop Country. It's been a slow ride to get here, everyone slowly migrated throughout the season here from Scout , a lot of you just new to this site period and most of you have stayed and I can't be any more thankful.
We just entered our 3rd month of this website, 5 months of leaving that other place.
We all don't agree on everything, but the very most important thing is we are all here for our team, our club.
We get into disagreements throughout the year and it can get pretty nasty, but throughout it all we are the best and most intelligent group of Braves fans on the internet, bar-none. The bottomline is that's why we're here.
Our community has been together for 13+ years, and we're not going anywhere. Once again I can't thank all of you enough for making this website what it is. If I didn't care about keeping the community together, I would've never paid anything for this site.
I look forward to keeping up the discussion this offseason, where there's a few holes our team needs to fill and I'll be interested to see what Frank Wren has in mind. Please feel free to PM or e-mail me at chopcountry@gmail.com for any feedback or comments on how to improve our site and our community. I have a lot of improvements to look forward to for this site in the offseason when I'll have more time to do it myself.

PS: I want to add that on top of being the Best Braves Community on the Web, we have the best diversity of sarcastic, humorous, negative nancy, doom and gloom naysayers, optimists, and post once a blue moon lurkers. I know Heyward, Niners and some get slack for being doom and gloom, but without them, the sweet taste of victory when our guys prove them wrong isn't as sweet. For every one of them you have guys like jpx, julio, dalyn to bring in a joke comment to ease the mood. I have not had this much fun in GDT's in years and this playoff series was great despite the fact we loss.
