Not Liberty's fault the team overachieved and Swanson got hurt
 
These 0-2 and two-out pitches in this series has been so insanely bad. Like, the pitchers are throwing absolute trash when it matters most.
 
Right now I feel if Acuna or Freeman doesn’t do something then we are sunk and it can’t be that way if you are gonna be a real playoff contender. I didn’t realize we were so bad at throwing runners out.
 
Our pitchers haven't exactly been on point, but damn, it's also sucks to feel like you can't make a mistake on the mound.

Offense is proving us absolutely zero breathing room.

No doubt it’s not their fault Swanson got hurt but what does overachieving have to do with them not having at the least a league average RH pinch hitter?
That’s being cheap esp when they had over a month to trade for one and I think most folks knew Duvall wasn’t the answer.
Even with Dans injury, having Adams, Rivera and Flarety on a playoff bench is unheard of and is 100% a result of Liberty not wanting to pay anyone.
Once the Braves saw that they were going to have a chance to get to the postseason it’s mind boggling they couldn’t find one solid RHH to go along with Duda from the left side.legit options to call on in big moments like these not AAAA filler.
