The Trump Presidency

#They'reOnlyProcessCrimes
#NoBiggie

Well at least they are acknowledged that crimes were committed. The guy ran as the "law and order candidate" and his own handpicked AG sent a memo to prosecutors telling them to vigorously enforce the law and to go with the most serious and readily provable charges.

Trump and Law Enforcement go hand in hand. Both want the the law strictly applied to others(specifically people they don't like) then want the law only loosely applies to them. Shouldn't be able to have it both ways.

made me laugh when some here predicted Trump would fail in Hanoi was interpreted as rooting for him to fail.

No, it is called reading the writing on the wall.
As been telling you for 3 years , he is not a good businessman and a lousy negotiator to boot
Because ---- he is transparently dishonest and people with an ounce of brain dont believe him

I don't think he's going to make it to the end of his term. A couple more of these public testimonies outlining the President's crimes and ugly lies and a few Reps will start to peel away.

Just my current prediction.

It is unacceptable that Trump should now take the side of another murderer of an innocent American.

Killing innocent Americans may be okay to Republicans in Congress and in the media, but I guarantee you this is not okay to many in the military and in the Pentagon and to people who put their lives on the line everyday for the country.

He is so much worse than even I ever dreamed. Not standing up for Americans abroad is unconscionable.

how many stories that trump has called “fake news” ended up being true. gotta be in the thousands.

If he says it is fake or says someone else is doing it

He and his crew are doing it and it’s true

Peter Mirijanian, a spokesman for Mr. Lowell, said on Thursday, “In 2018, White House and security clearance officials affirmed that Mr. Kushner’s security clearance was handled in the regular process with no pressure from anyone. That was conveyed to the media at the time, and new stories, if accurate, do not change what was affirmed at the time.”

that's some mighty careful choice of language...i bet someone(s) triple checked the placement of the commas in that statement

as Cohen explained yesterday he would "look me in the eye and tell me there's no Russian business..."

‘New statement from a spokesman for Abbe Lowell:

“Mr. Lowell was not aware of nor told of any request for or action by the President to be involved in the security clearance process. Again, officials affirmed at the time that the regular process occurred without any pressure.”’

So, in other words, his client and the administration lied to him.

It's a dumb and dangerous thing to lie to your own lawyer. But it seems to be SOP with Trump and his minions. It appears quite obvious he has sat down with his lawyers and looked them in they eye and said "no collusion." And his lawyers have become uncomfortable not knowing what happened (in the case of Cobb he seems to have taken the president's protestations of innocence literally with disastrous consequences for his client). It is difficult to work on behalf of a client who keeps you in the dark.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Capping a singularly disastrous week for the Commander-in-Chief, Donald J. Trump stormed out of a Washington, D.C., McDonald’s restaurant on Friday after failing to close a six-dollar Meal Deal at the establishment.

At approximately 12:30 P.M., Trump took a break from his designated “executive time” to travel to the nearby McDonald’s, where he placed an order for a Meal Deal consisting of a Quarter Pounder with cheese, fries, Coke, and an apple pie.

Tracy Klugian, the McDonald’s employee who took Trump’s order, said that he was aware of Trump’s difficulty in closing deals and therefore hiked the price of the Meal Deal to twelve dollars.

“I really thought he would drive a harder bargain, what with ‘The Art of the Deal’ and all,” the McDonald’s staffer said. “I was kind of surprised when he just bailed.”

With the McDonald’s deal in tatters, one White House aide acknowledged that Trump “really needs a win right now,” and that he was en route to Arby’s.

Trump's lack of strength when he comes face to face with America's enemies is shocking. I thought he was a tough guy. He's a wimp. He attacks Dems on Twitter but cowtows to dictators. It's said that he dislikes real confrontation.

Forget the Mueller report, Trump himself is a security threat.

I think it's fair to worry about the 2020 election. He is going to declare the election illegitimate if he loses. With all the criminal charges being he can't afford to lose now. I predict the following quote "How could I lose when I am doing such a great job, the election must have been rigged".

New from me:

Fox News HAD the story of Trump's hush money payoffs to Stormy Daniels

BEFORE the election but killed it because the reporter said she was told,

"Good reporting Kiddo, but Rupert Murdoch wants Donald Trump to win.

So set it aside." Reporter sued, is bound by an NDA.

Complaining about media being too cozy with a political party? Thats rich but i know you all had to launch a special counsel to distract from the wikileaks information.

The bill was designed to do this. The issue is that for many Americans the benefit expires in a few years.

The bill was designed to lower taxes, and it did for the great majority of people

Of course, tax refunds are irellevant to that fact
