There's nothing easier to do than raise money as a sitting president. Selling out the country for donations is a long tradition. If he wins a second term I expect it to be all about illegal campaign contributions. Both sides do it but you know Trump will take it to the extreme.

How about an optional tax people can sign up for to withhold money from their paycheck that they can then use when/if they get cancer 20 years later? Dont want to sign up then dont complain when you need it.



I think Democrats really should focus on medicare for all kids first. With adults you can work hard and get a good job with health insurance. Kids can't do that. I am as anti-tax as anyone but we shouldn't let little kids die because their parents can't afford 250k medical bill.

If not charity, why not (as a “progressive”) pay the rate you believe someone with your income should pay? When Baier asked Sanders that question, he apparently blew it off then deflected:

"Pfft, come on. I paid the taxes that I owe," Sanders replied. “Why don’t you get Donald Trump up here and ask him how much he pays in taxes?”

Yes, they shouldn’t live in a black and white world on the issue and should be something that a patient and doctor determine,

Not some “freedom lover” who determines what medical procedure is needed
 
That's pretty sad that you're not willing to say that a nine month old baby should not be allowed to be aborted.

But we've always known this to be the case. It's the crazy left feels bold enough to embrace it publicly now.
