That's why medical field shouldn't be privatized. Welfare of the general population shouldn't be for maximum profit.

Compare them to Germany, France or UK who spend 12% or under of GDP for health care for all their citizens. US taxpayers spend 18% and not everyone is covered.

You're second point explains why you're wrong about the first point.

Privatizing it completely would bring down costs as competitors compete for "customers." We spend a ton of public money on HC, yet our HC costs are astronomical. Shocking, right?
 
I still have a hard time believing they spent $634 million on a website, just blows my mind.

What has happened to the cost of health care since programs like Medicare, the Bush prescription drug act, and now Obama Care?
 
Some lady in Florida was informed her healthcare insurance plan was going from $54 a month to $591 a month. She's eligible for some subsidies but can't see what due to the $634 million website not working.
 
I think Obama as finally had his "Mission Accomplished" moment.

"If you like your health plan, you will be able to keep your health plan."

@max.dragonard - To play the devil's advocate, if you have "at least 1/2 a brain and I'm tired of politicians lying to me," why didn't you check to make certain your insurance was up to the new standards so that you wouldn't lose your insurance? Why didn't you take some personal responsibility and provide for yourself?

To continue playing devil's advocate, you seem to be a willing participant. If, in fact, you are "tired of politicians lying to me, especially under the adage 'it's for your own good,'" then it seems to me you would have done something to determine whether or not you were in fact being "lied to." You didn't. So.... who's to blame for that? Hint: Not Obama.

When the IRS wasn't playing pin the taxes on the political party, it told Obama 40-67% of current enrollees would lose their coverage. Hmmm... So we knew everyone would be cancelled? Nice. Good for America indeed ....
 
you would have too had you been paying attention. There were minimums written into the bill since day one--- but hey, the website isn't flawless ... Obama's birth certificate, -------------------
Bottom line is the time you and your tribe spent bellyaching about death panels and socialists and whatever BS Rush told you to bellyache about -- you could have spent your time learning how this thing works and how it affected you and your family. But, I guess your masters told you it was going to be repealed -------------------
Again, if I get homeowners insurance that doesn't meet the criteria of the mortgage company -- I lose my loan / house etc. That is how the game works.

Not knowing that or simply not understanding what the President said does not make him a liar. Just makes you look like a dumb ass to everyone outside of your 35% bubble. That to this day still thinks Iraq was behind 9/11.
