Is the Florida home rainout total still at one, rico43? Yes, I could look it up but I'm lazy and you are the Director of Minor League Reports and the man to ask.

Over/under 35 bombs for Riley across any level. I wanted to do just thirty but he’ll be is almost half way there, so set it at 35.

Callis said on one of the fan podcasts that homers are up 30% in AAA with new ball.

Also said braves have 9th pick in 8 man draft.

Sort of a buzz kill when you think about it.

That’s when you look at how he’s doing compared to the rest of the league. (I don’t know those numbers.)

Another multi-homer game
May 9, 2019
Riley went 3-for-4 with a walk, two home runs and three RBI for Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.

ANALYSIS
The 22-year-old is the hottest hitter in the International League at the moment, if not the entire minors, slashing .469/.544/1.204 over the last 13 games with 10 homers -- including three separate two-homer performances in the last eight contests. More importantly for his chances of making a big-league debut in 2019, Riley got the start in left field Wednesday, his first appearance in the outfield during his minor-league career. Josh Donaldson is healthy at third base for Atlanta and has an .846 OPS, but Ender Inciarte has a .640 mark, and the club could easily shift Ronald Acuna to center field to open up a corner outfield spot for Riley if Inciarte's struggles continue too much longer.

They probably don’t wait much longer for Ender to figure things out. Riley is starting to force the issue.

At some point in the not too distant future he needs 100 MLB PAs to get a better sense of his future.

When do the Braves next play in an AL park?

Solid pitching again up and down the system. De La Cruz has done well since his promotion to Florida and I think he's someone to watch. 40-man decision looms in the off-season. His BB numbers are way down from his career marks. Nice to see Muller have a night where his control was improved.

We all knew he could hit for power but the K rate now is beginning to make a case that Riley could be more than a ceiling 3 win player.
