Tigers game 2

Using the bloody Ric Flair this time. We’ve gotten our asses kicked the past few days
 
Glaus, I mean Riley is doing it every other game.

Geez, he can go the other way to yard, 400+ feet. Is he really that strong?
 
I don’t really think that was Soroka’s worst start, although it is by numbers. He looked quite bad at times the second time he faced Arizona. I think that still is his worst start to me.

I do think he didn’t look at his best at times though today. He was giving up hard hit balls and he was maybe lucky he didn’t give up a 2 run HR, but I thought he was settling in during the 4th. Then the pitcher gets a very stupid chopper hit and Stewart gets a bloop single that was 70 MPH. The 4th and last inning and two/thirds (should’ve been two full IP though ☹), were outstanding by him.

Just be sure to let us know when Riley “comes back to earth”, preferably before he goes through a poor 20 PA stretch in the 4thspot.

I don’t know that the obvious move is having Ender in the everyday lineup over Markakis although it’s a potential option. He should definitely be in for late game defense though.

Yeah, "obviously" is a strong word. The outfield defense is pretty terrible at the moment though, so I think ender in cf is a priority

I’m not sure Ender in CF is a priority but I definitely see upgrading the OF defense as one. Hopefully Acuna can improve in CF as the year goes on. He’s athletic enough to handle the position he just needs to refine his defensive game. Beyond that maybe a trade for a strong offensive and defensive CF.
 
Much like the five Tigers batters he faced, I am blown away by what Luke Jackson is doing.
 
Ender will need a rehab stint in AAA soon. How he looks there will have a lot to do with how he’s used when deemed ready.

Of course, if Riley is still hitting a bomb every other game, he isn’t going to sit. Something tells me the Braves will be ready to welcome back a healthy Inciarte in 2-3 weeks though.
