Damn. This and the fact Van Wegenen's top guy is scouting Gwinnett... wonder if something really is going to happen.
A Thor addition would certainly make Phils and Nats piss their pants. If we somehow stole Wheeler and Thor you'd have to think the Dodgers would also take notice as well.
I do think Camargo could also be filler for the Mets as well. He gets to play with the dude he modeled his game after (Robinson Cano).

Syndergaard's the only guy on the market who really has the potential to change the trajectory of a pennant race. The entire point of hoarding prospects and maintaining "financial flexibility" is to put yourself in a position to pounce on an opportunity like this one.
Is there risk? Sure, and obviously it's easier to say "trade for Syndergaard" then it is to actually craft a trade for him. But I'm totally on board with a Syndergaard trade, even knowing it'll cot a pound of flesh.

Man an addition of Thor and Diaz would be insane. The rest of the NL would be put on notice no doubt. We could even pick up Green or Giles also. I’m not gonna lie I’m getting excited about this one bc they did send scouts to both teams so that tells me they have already talked about what players would be dealt.

I dont think they're untouchable but i wouldnt move them for Thor.
Would suck to see them within the division and become studs on the Mets.
