Of course he is much like many 75 year old people are.
I hadn't considered that. Now that you mention it he doesn't seem so aberrant and abhorrent. And of course when he was 55, he was much like many 55 year old people at the time.
For a lot of racist things it is easy to find something else that in some way resembles it but is clearly not racist. I think there is a pretty clear difference between Sanders and Trump there. But, Trump said something that Bernie Sanders said. You said one was racist and the other is not.

Be my guest if you want to conflate the two.
Must be nice to makeup the rules on who is and who isnt racist.
Any objections to Trump calling Elijah Cummings a racist. Or is this normal for people his age.
Stupid statement - Anyone calling anyone a racist without real support is an idiot incapable of having real issue conversation.
It gets us nowhere and what ends up happening is that Americans suffer.
As I noted in post #21629, people of good will can and should draw attention to the problems in Baltimore. And that this can be done in a constructive spirit. But I don't think any of the president's recent pronouncements on Baltimore are animated by a constructive spirit. I'm sorry to say the animating spirit is one of bad faith, and outright racist.
So Trump can never have a critical opinion of anything involving POC or else it is racist?
Is he wrong about Baltimore? If not, are facts racist?
