2019 Trade Deadline Thread:

KC fans will love pointing to that WS flag 5 years from now as they watch a 100 loss team.

Flags fly forever!!!

You are making fun of a fan base that got to follow a team win a world title. There are only 100 or so of those teams in the history of the world.

Rings matter. Flags matter. Winning matters.

This is such a bizarre conversation. Do you even have testosterone?

LOL.

Enscheff wants to be "entertained" over winning, as if the two are mutually exclusive.

What in the world is wrong with you?

Plus, there is nothing more entertaining or satisfying than winning.

This has nothing to do with logic. My God. Quit trying to push the intelligence angle you loser.

Also, you have no idea where I attended school. You didn't attend an Ivy, though, Pacific Boy.

Dude, I'm starting to think that you have no reading comprehension skills at all. He was obviously saying that being entertained over a long period of time (long contention window) is objectively better than being entertained over a short period of time.

I would rather watch 10 really good movies over the course of 10 days, rather than watch 1 amazing movie and then be bored out of my mind for the other 9 days.

If you didn't get that analogy:

I would rather draw with 10 good crayons that were all different colors, rather than have the greatest crayon of all time that was just blue.

Or...

You know East Central Podunk Kentucky State University proves you're an idiot.

You are a fool.

I am not high on judging people for where they went to school, but you went to freakin' Pacific. The audacity of you to attack someone for that is crazy.

How much did you enjoy the 1995 World Series flag during our rebuilding stretch from 2014-2017? Personally I don't think I looked at it or thought about it a single time.

Pacific is like one of the top private research universities on the west coast lol.

It's not objectively better. That is ridiculous.

I would rather watch Casablanca once than watch The Lobster every day for 10 days.

Okay, yeah... Your reading comprehension is terrible. My analogy plainly stated that it was 10 different movies, not the same movie 10 times. I put the crayon analogy there for a reason! Use it!

Okay, you're right about that. But no, I still disagree.

Does Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings count as 1 giant epic movie or 3 different movies telling one story? What about Star Wars trilogies.

Gladiator or Godfather movies I could prob watch everydsy for 10 days.

Lord of the Rings is 1 giant movie because it was one originally 1 book. Star Wars originally was a movie that was popular that needed sequels.

Not an option. You can only watch it on one day. I'll be generous put LoTR as one movie.

This seems like a very Game of Thrones vs. Lord of the Rings discussion. Lord of the Rings is better, but its over so quick. Game of Thrones is still really good and you can be entertained by it over a long period of time. If I'm looking for long term entertainment, give me GoT.

Some movies and books I keep coming to over and over. Lately it seems I never watch or read anything new.
