Yeah, no, that was meant just that it should have been the world's most certain run, not to criticize each of those three players. Obv Donaldson didn't contribute to the failure.
 
Removing Newk kept Martinez on the bench in a 1 run game because Shildt is “saving him”

Snit has done a pretty good job deploying the pitchers this series.

He's their Duvall. No reason to let him face a lefty even though we have.
 
Quick, effective inning for a fresh Tomlin. Probably a dumb question, but with our now shortened bullpen, should we put him out there in the 8th?

Hate to put this on a very used MM in the 9th.

Allowing him to face Fried twice are really the only mistakes Snkt has made with the pitching staff (perhaps leaving DK in too long, but that’s debatable). He should be commended for deploying that half of his roster pretty damn well all series.

Oh, great, it's the very sensitive Helsley. Maybe we could get him off his game if one of our batters did the Tomahawk Chop.
