The Curse Breaking Thread

Seriously, if the Braves win this game, I’ll never post here again. That’s how confident I am that they won’t.

I know that this is supposed to be a positivity thread, but this is my contribution toward breaking the curse. The only thing I love more than watching the Braves is coming here and bull****ting with all of you. I’m willing to sacrifice this half of my dearest baseball hobby to see a playoff series win tomorrow for the Braves. You said anything goes, right?

If by some miracle the Braves do manage to win, just remember who died for your sins.

Totally unnecessary.
We are RELENTLESS AND WILL NOT LOSE TO THESE BASTARDS TOMORROW.

It's all part of the plan. Hosting game 5 just gives the Braves extra revenue. When the Nats beat the LA we will then have homefield again and reap in all that extra money as well.

I actually did think of the extra revenue a game like this would generate. Must be pretty significant.

At least two extra games in the NLCS > one extra game in the NLDS.

Its not that it's just a curse it is the crazy mess that has happened.

'96 Leyritz and blowing a big lead as part of that.

'97 Eric Gregg

'98 Danny Bautista in lf

2005 marathon in Houston

2012 Chipper's bad throw and Holbrook

There has been some really some crazy things happen. After thinking about it maybe Larussa put the whammy on us when he left town after we recovered from down 3-1 in 1996.

xBA on the Cards 33 hits is .625

xBA on the Braves 32 hits is .608

Seems to me the Braves have gotten more lucky hits than the Cards, so be careful wishing for the luck to change.
