It is factual we lowered seed infections by stopping travel from china. There population was in more advanced stages because it originated there.

Of course other seed infections traveled here from all.over thenworld but at a lower potential infection rate

This is so easy to understand I'm not sure what's taking you so long.

The main reason the US is not italy right now aside from the aged population is we stopped travel from.china.

For one, your comment mentioned he said we 'could' see 100k deaths. He clearly said we WILL see 100k deaths. Secondly, that quote has zero bearing on what he believes the death rate actually is. 100 million people would have to contract COVID-19 for your .1 percent prediction to be accurate with 100k thousand deaths.

You literally said "We stopped the flow of new seed infections on January 31st." That is a blatant lie. You're pulling pages out of Trump's handbook now, speaking half truths and protraying them as facts.
 
Cuomo reported that rate of hospitalization and ICUs have gone down consistently. And we havent even been fully impacted by social distancing measures yet.

Again, that link isn't indicative of anything you said. Fauci could easily be assuming 10-50 million get infected. In fact, he's probably assuming closer to 10 million, since I've seen nothing he's changed his original stance of about 1 percent.

Based on what we have learned about the virus transmission its highly unlikely that only 10m in the country have it considering it's been here since November at the latest.

Every major population center probably has a 30-40% infection rate.

Americans and Chinese meet up all over the world. And sometimes the transmission was indirect. Eg. Chinese to Arab to American. It is not fully understood by most people the extent to which people from China (and I'm not talking about the Chinese diaspora) have significant a significant presence all over the world now. They work in many fields and travel a lot.

That's why the spread is all over the globe.

The areas with larger commercial trade deals and other interconnections got hit first due to the number of seed infections and when they came.

So roughly 3 million people in NYC have it currently? If that were true, according to your "math" we should see death tolls of about 3k in NYC alone.

I actually could see the infection rate being much higher in NYC. If you ever visited during the week and walked around or took a subway in the 5 boroughs then you'll understand.

I expect 10k in NYC and long island to die.
