what is causing the food plants to close is the workers getting sick...not complicated unless you are trying to shoehorn a simple situation into an ideological straightjacket

well that is true...but that is not the reason why the plants are closing and certain meats and other items are becoming hard to find at grocery stores

I don't think anyone is enjoying this. We would like it to be over. But it seems difficult for you to understand that people don't want to get sick and to pass on the infection to others. It is not an unreasonable concern. It is not unreasonable to be looking for plan that allows for those concerns to be addressed.

Those plants have been deemed essential. They are not being shut down by government. They are being shut down by the workers getting sick. It is hard to believe you think this is an argument against government action. There are so many better arguments to make your case. This is about the worse one available.

It's not unreasonable to understand that there is not a practical method of eliminating this risk.
At some point we are gonna have to take the plunge.
I hear people saying we need to shelter in place til a vaccine is ready. I cant imagine what it's like to think like that

If arresting citizens for walking alone outside, or playing tee ball with their kid, or denying them the ability to buy seeds, or denying them the right to travel to a property they own, or reporting them for drive in church service, or, or, or...
