The Coronavirus, not the beer

right now that positivity rate is leading the country

hopefully you get it turned around soon

i do wonder about not taking the medicare expansion that is on the table from the ACA...seems like a no brainer to me...Bill Waller wanted to go for it and he aint exactly a socialist

I'm not really sure why they turned it down. We aren't the smartest state.

Yes, in a country with 325 million spread across 50 States and countless cities/counties, there is bound to be some statistical errors. Acting like it is some widespread conspiracy to make your boy look bad is laughable. The total US cases are pretty much on par (per million) with similar countries that also had failed to properly handle this pandemic. So I guess it's just a worldwide conspiracy to overthrow the Chosen One?

i would also think if there is widespread deliberate miscounting in a state like Florida that DeSantis would bring to bear the powers of his office to bring a stop to it...ditto for Kemp in Georgia, Abbott in Texas, etc, etc

he's probably alive if trump cancels his tulsa rally or insists on mask wearing
but nope. he dug in to his covid = not that serious position, needed a rally to try and make him feel better, and this is the result.
it is amazing how incompetent the gop is. how on earth do they have any voters anymore?

There are still people out there who prefer to be free to make choices for themselves, even if they are wrong ones.

Its what the country was founded on.

But i do understand your need to have a central planner tell you how to live.

i feel he only died cause they tested and found out he had covid

he would still be alive if they just didn't test him

People celebrating the deaths of those they disagree with politically always sickens me. Even if you don't like what someone believes or you feel their beliefs makes them culpable for great harm, that shouldn't cross the line into wishing them dead. It's a short step from thinking someone who disagrees with you politically's death is good to wanting to execute those who disagree with you. If it's good that a political opponent is dead, wouldn't causing the deaths of political opponents also be a good thing?

If your political opinion is that I should be arrested, sexually assaulted, human trafficked, and given a scarlet letter then yes I do wish that person nothing but the worst including death. I am more than understand that if I do something to harm someone or that can harm someone else I deserve those things and it might happen to me. What I do not accept is that you or anyone else has the right or authority to do harm to me for what I do in the privacy of my own home. If my political opinion is black people should be slaves. I think its pretty acceptable for black people to want me to die. If my political opinion is that women should be raped I think its pretty acceptable for them to want me to die. If my political opinion is that Christians should be locked up I think its pretty acceptable for them to wish me death. I can quit smoking just like they can quit being Christian. Even if being Christian is outlawed somewhere it doesnt make it right and it doesnt make the people enforcing it moral.

A person like John McCain who is viewed as a hero divorced his wife as soon as he got home to marry a rich girl who partially owned a major alcohol company. Now this guy recused himself from votes in Congress regarding alcohol but refused to do so when it came to marijuana which he knew very well if legalized would hurt the beer company his family gets its money. The media makes a big deal of him being in Vietnam and being captured but what they dont tell you is that he failed to fight for those veterans when he got power. A lot of vietnam vets smoke marijuana and a hell of a lot of them have been locked up for it. Hell, they were ****ing smoking it in Vietnam. Its also generally great for PTSD. And at the end of it all the disease he died of is treatable with medical marijuana. Not curable but the average patient treated with medical marijuana on average lived with the disease 1 year longer than McCain did. He might have actually lived to see the Mueller report if he wasnt so hostile to medical marijuana.

As for Hermain Cain, I laugh at him because he was very smug about attending the Tulsa rally and not wearing a mask. Nothing personally against the guy but if you are going to take this virus as a hoax then I will not feel sorry for that person.

Interesting the contrast between the funeral for Lewis and Trump's rally in Texas yesterday.

Everyone was wearing a mask at Ebenezer Church, (other than whomever was the person speaking at the podium). There was a decent amount of social distancing in most of the pews.

Whereas yesterday at Trump's rally/meeting/speech whatever, it was pretty much the exact opposite.

I buried my grandma during all this with a full funeral in one of the hardest hit states with no masks and no one said a damn thing to us.
