GDT 8/9/20 Game 2

Yet another example of a pitcher "cruising" until he's not.

Fried was at 70 pitches up by 4 in the 2nd game of a double header, so I have no issue with him being allowed to face Cutch/Hoskins/Harper a 3rd time, but in almost any other scenario he should not be facing Cutch the 3rd time.

This game is why.

Up by 4 after the BP pitched a lot in game 1, I probably try to get him through Harper.

Any other game I probably don't let him face Cutch 3x.
 
So I guess O’day and Greene to close it out?
I wouldn’t mind seeing Smith if the lefties get up again since he hasn’t pitched much this year

I think AA has been doing pretty well filling the catcher position with part time players on short deals. I see absolutely zero reason to deviate from that course just because TDA has hit well for 2 weeks, and the resident dope tehteh thinks he should be here long term.
