GDT 8/29: Braves @ Phillies

Looks like the phillies will be 2 games back after today. Tomorrow seems like a big game

Considering 1st round is best of 3, and playoffs will be in a bubble, i dont think standings really matter that much, tbh. Just hope we get in healthy, and have 3 capable starters. Then see what happens from there.

But sending Tomlin out to Hoskins was dumb given how deep the bullpen is.

Good point

Can blame Snit not taking out Tomlin but one run today is pathetic.

Difference in the game was an incompetent manager letting Hoskins face tomlin again

We still would have had to put a 2nd run across. And whoever replaced Tomlin may gave given up a run/runs.

Maybe, but Hoskins was an absolute certainty to smash tomlin. He'd done it twice already. It was as stupid a decision as I've seen a manager make.

Didn't get to watch this game, but looking at the box score I'm going to guess Tomlin was allowed to face the top of the order a 3rd time because "he was cruising".

Ender hits HR recently, but isn't the "hot hand" for some reason, and we get to watch Ozuna lumber around the OF.

Same mistakes, different day. How many times is AA going to let this happen?

Offense was terrible but yeah that sums it up. Snit started out ok but lately has been bad.

Surely we see schebler tomorrow, right? When you ph for a lhh vs a rhp in the 8th, it's pretty telling.
