I mean, Markakis worked himself into a good count and hammered the ball the opposite way, while Riley took a two-strike fastball and smoked it up the middle. Duvall was terrible, naturally, but two guys just had bad luck at an inopportune time. Everyone in that inning who wasn't named "Adam Duvall" had a good approach.
Duvall had a rough series vs the Reds was abysmal. He swung at an offspeed pitch for strike 3 that damn near bounced in the opposite batters box.
