Replacing Kershaw with Gonsolin doesn’t move the needle that much. Yes, it’s a downgrade, but this isn’t Kershaw from 5 years ago when he was elite. Let’s not pretend like this is swapping out Maddux in his prime for Milone.

Uh this is a huge deal. This won’t allow Kershaw to start game 7. Also this could stress the LA bullpen even further. May would be unable to pitch if the plan to start him at some point. Gotta look at everything in this series several games down the line.
