Is there a point of locking down if you still allow people from

other states to enter freely? We closed out border here in

Western Australia to the rest of the country and the world back

in March and locked down.

That’s why we love normally over here and have since May.

Deaths per 100,000 people:

France: 4.37
Italy: 8.57
Germany: 3.16
UK: 4.50
Spain: 2.80
Canada: 1.69
US: 4.45

So the US is doing roughly the same as France and the UK. Italy is again getting savaged.

did msstate delegate this to you in writing?

How many times will 57 post this false stimulus information?

on this i agree with you...we've channeled much of our response via the unemployment insurance program...through expanded and extended eligibility and topping off of benefits...I think this is the right way to go...it is not perfect...some people have fallen through the cracks and we should do what we can to help those people

There are still some striking numbers on that list. I'm surprised Spain is doing so well considering what happened there earlier this year. It makes me wonder if there's trouble ahead for them.

I'd also like to know what Canada's secret is. Is is geography? Is it greater compliance with guidelines? Is it contact tracing? Is it a combination of things?

Compared to most of Europe, we and Canada have a couple advantages. Lower population density and a population with a younger demographic profile.

Canada is at a more northerly latitude (as are most European countries) than we are. So a longer season where people will be indoors. That one obviously works against them compared to Florida, Texas, Arizona and some southern European countries.

Don’t they have the best information?

That has nothing to do with whether or not they are following it themselves. It does not surprise me one bit that a bunch of politicians think rules, facts, and reality don't apply to them. This happens all the time. Just look at all the politicians raging war against one thing or another only to be found participating in that very thing (usually in a dark alley somewhere or in a church). I am certainly not going to base any of my life decisions off these people.
