I want universal health care. I think claims that it's a right are baseless.
Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Apple are all leftist corporations. That is not debatable and shouldn't be news to anyone. They also have the right to do business with and employee whoever they want. I wish those on the left, who are so adamant about that in this case, were more consistent. That way funeral home directors could specify uniforms, and cake bakers could choose who to bake for, and florists could choose which weddings to decorate.

Oh well. Now those gun owners with no trust in elections have lost faith in the free market as well. The stupidity of these absolutely partisan bans may create some painful consequences. It certainly won't make anything better.

The rioting is a predictable consequence of not just bad policy but policy that does not fit the will of the people who have to live with it. A big part of the problem is that we divide people into two sides, supporters of police and haters of police. We dont allow for any in between. The sad thing to me is that this issue isnt a complicated one if people approached the issue with intellectual honesty and little bit of basic psychology. So many people work backwards with their logic and let their biases dictate their opinion.

Amazon, Google, and Apple need to be concerned about something down the road. If they make enemies of Republicans then the words "utility" or "monopoly" become more dangerous. It's typically been Republicans that have opposed such measures where these companies are concerned.

Its not hard to see Google and Apple getting their smartphone divisions regulated as utilities.

not serving someone because they like men vs. companies removing users who incite violence are totally the same thing. i am very smart and deep and i hate nuance and details i don’t like.
