Pence coordinated the response. Kinda weird the veep had to do this. Don't think your boy gave the authorization. Even weirder that all the diehard Trump administration officials who resigned see all this in a somewhat different light that you do.

"Chairman Milley and I just spoke separately with the Vice President and with Speaker Pelosi, Leader McConnell, Senator Schumer and Representative Hoyer about the situation at the U.S. Capitol. We have fully activated the D.C. National Guard to assist federal and local law enforcement as they work to peacefully address the situation," acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller said in a statement.

In all the statements made by Miller and others at the Defense Department no one has mentioned any authorization by very poorly chosen one.

He tweated to respect the cops.

He declared DC a national emergency.

He tweated a video saying the violence was unacceptable and will be prosecuted.

His FBI has arrested or is seeking to arrest the offenders.

Pentagon and Trump administration officials said the green light came from the vice president, while Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller said he and Gen. Mark Milley, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke with Pence, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), about what was happening at the Capitol. It does not appear either Miller or Milley spoke with the president.

De facto it seems that the 25th amendment was put in place on Jan 6. The chain of command no longer seems to include very poorly chosen one.

of course, we all know he checked out quite a while ago as far as making any pretense of doing his job...probably a good thing
 
Is there any evidence that Trump didn't make the call? Besides your consistently wrong anonymous sources? CNN, NYT, et all reported he delayed the call but eventually did do it after persuasion from Pence.

I recognize you have your narrative and now that is your fact, but much like all the other things your convinced of, there is little to no evidence to support

He didn’t call the national guard in

He let it go for hours

He told the same people after hours that he loved them while watching what they did

It's amazing how frequently the same people avoid answering questions/arguing a particular argument in favor of calling someone stupid, cult, etc.

It's basically assurance to me they have nothing. If you are so sure you are correct show me why and make it so obvious that I have no choice but to accept it

to be fair on your side of the balance sheet is a tweet from Kayleigh McEnany. Feel free to give that whatever weight you think it deserves.

what's remarkable to me is that you are crediting him for taking actions that everyone inside his administration (including many who have resigned) views in a much more negative light...it is a truly amazing gloss you are putting on things...i guess Betsy DeVoss turned out to be part of deep state after all...who'd have thunk it

What's weird is a dictator attempting a coup would deploy the military to stop is, plead his troops to stop, and arrest all the worst offenders.
 
Does anyone have the words that have been so endlessly describe as incitement for the insurrection? What did he say and when? It's been repeated a million times that he incited the event and I'm simply asking what did he specifically say to do so?

and his cabinet officers and aides i guess drank the WaPo and Times kool-aid...that must be it...why else would they be resigning
