He could survive. There is a poll showing most New Yorkers want him to stay but not run for re-election. But that was a couple days ago. I'm guessing the polling results are still getting worse for him.
The problem that the investigation will reveal is that his own government did not handle the sexual harassment he committed according to the rules he himself promulgated.
The two highest ranking Democrats in the state government have called for him to resign.

Cant Republicans in the state impeach him? I was told if they dont impeach or they do and he isnt convicted then he is innocent. Is that how it works?
Which prominent Republican lawmakers have been forced out of office for sexual harassment?
Honestly the sexual harassment allegations aren’t that bad. Nothing really physical and no retaliation. The nursing home stuff bothers me but there are a lot of governors guilty of manipulating COVID statistics for political purposes. I’ll go with looking into those things if we’re consistent. There were a lot of things done for political reasons.

Not to excuse the NY Governor in any way/ for anything but.
There is a guy with over 25 credible accusations that never considered resigning
even though one such is to the stage of retrieving DNA samples. Court approved
I have read credible people opine these revelations, at this time, have more to do with SDNY investigations
and replacing the current governor with a more friendly , how you say ... ?

The toxic management style is the underlying issue. But that's something that voters should decide.
However, his behavior in particular toward Charlotte Bennett in and off itself should result in his resignation, and I'm glad to see senior Dems calling for it.
