On Thursday, the FBI arrested a political appointee of President Donald Trump on charges that he stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, according to a criminal complaint, marking the first member of the former administration arrested in connection with the insurrection.

Federal agents arrested Federico Guillermo Klein, 42, a former State Department aide, on multiple felony charges related to the Capitol riot, according to a criminal complaint published by the New York Times. (Politico first reported the arrest.) The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment early Friday.

Klein, who is also a former Trump campaign employee, did not immediately respond to a request for comment early Friday. It is unclear if he has hired a lawyer.

Klein was still employed at the State Department as a staff assistant on Jan. 6 when he joined a mob in a tunnel leading into the U.S. Capitol, the FBI said. Then he allegedly “physically and verbally engaged with the officers holding the line” at the building’s entrance, according to the complaint. After ignoring officers’ orders to move back, he assaulted officers with a riot shield that had been stolen from police, the complaint said, and then used the shield to wedge open a door into the Capitol.

At one point, Klein was caught on video shouting for more insurrectionists to come to the front lines, where officers were struggling to hold back the mob.

“We need fresh people, need fresh people,” he said, according to the complaint.

Trump terrorist from Idaho who was seen hanging out of a Capitol window and screaming has been arrested. She claims God put her in that window and has no regrets. Hood thing for her there is no better place to be for a holy person. Plenty of time to read the bible. Get to preach to the wicked. Free from all that temptation to sin. She should thank God for sending her to prison.

So there is a perfect comparable event to the Jan. 6th attack from the world of sports. And just like Tonya, Trump will deny responsibility till his last breath.

I was thinking Manson.
If only for the mental picture of Trump with a swastika carved into his forehead

PORTLAND, Ore. — Federal prosecutors have dismissed more than one-third of cases stemming from last summer’s violent protests in downtown Portland, when protesters clashed with federal agents. KGW reviewed federal court records and found 31 of the 90 protest cases have been dismissed by the U.S. Department of Justice, including a mix of misdemeanor and felony charges.

Some of the most serious charges dropped include four defendants charged with assaulting a federal officer, which is a felony. More than half of the dropped charges were "dismissed with prejudice," which several former federal prosecutors described as extremely rare. “Dismissed with prejudice” means the case can’t be brought back to court.

I literally have a thread that you guys tried to detail cops arresting people without cause

You can go look at it and understand why some of those charges are being thrown out

Or you could have your fake outrage of false equivalency instead

A few years from now an overwhelming majority of Americans will know 2020 was stolen.

Globalist left executed a million paper cuts.

It’ll be too bad the damage was done as Biden is on track to be one of the worst presidents of all time.

And we see the same ballot curing process which speaks to the equal protection under the law clauses that were brought up in the lawsuits thrown out for standing.

What a joke.

The parties that would have standing are those who could be potentially injured in upcoming elections. They are free to sue now. If they wait to see whether they like the election results before they sue they will run into the same issues. So any future candidate who has concerns about a future election could sue if they thought the election process in place is legally flawed.

I’m aware of the rationale. It was awful rationale because so few people knew what was actually going on. Until we saw the disaster that was Election Day did it become clear what happened.

2020 is over and what happened happened. What’s important now is making sure it never happens again because the populist agenda is only getting more appealing so what was supposed to happen in 2020 is still going to happen.

The Marxist left will need to push as much through as possible the next two years because it’s going to be a continuation of the red wave we saw in 2020 (aside from the top of the ticket oddly)

I'm very curious to see if any candidate in an upcoming election challenges the processes in place in any of these states. If they are so problematic I imagine someone will sue.
