Gamel bunted for a hit against the shift.

I wonder how good a hitter would have to be at bunting for hits to force teams out of the shift. When is the threat of a bunt single too great that they want the hitter to be swinging be a non-shifted infield.

I have a feeling this may become more commonplace as a shift antidote. In that light, we may find out fairly quickly.

Man, I loved those late 80s braves teams with Horner, Murphy, Zane smith, Benedict, etc. I watched Sanford and son and braves like every night as a kid
