Giving Jose Peraza a double on an 0-2 pitch is inexcusable.

In a misguided effort to spare the BP, Snit gave up a PA late in the game when he allowed Morton to hit for himself.

The very next inning a tiring Morton gave up the lead and didn’t get a single out in exchange for giving up that PA. So the BP got used exactly as much as if he had PH for Morton.

This exact mistake has been made at least a dozen times, usually with predictably disastrous results…and a BP that is no more rested than it would have been if used optimally.

It’s becoming unwatchable to see them lose leads in exactly the same manner over and over.
