As much as we (me included) complain about heredia, it's probably worth noting he's passed Riley in ops.
 
I am only following on the computer but after Shane Greene's abysmal performance I just figured it was a lost cause, but lo and behold, it looks like we've found our pinch-hitter. Maybe Snitker should be using Fried as the early-game pinch-hitter to preserve the bench.

Fried won it, but almonte made it possible. I like him as a starter vs rhp and bench option at least until we get a real lf. At that point, I'm fine with him PH bc he can draw a walk
