GDT: 7/26 Braves @ Muts....Braves get the deathblow

Wilson gave us a chance to win and the offense just couldn’t get it done. We have Morton and Fried going the next 2 games.

Awwwww how cute. We thought we were going to sweep? Lol. AA needs to either sell or buy soon. We won't go anywhere with our C,LF, CF currently and if anyone wants to argue that I'm game

Would be pretty stunned if we lost tomorrow with Morton vs TBA. So likely 4 games back for Fried/Megill and Smyly/Walker.

This is setting up perfectly for us to be in that indecisive, nightmare 4-5 games back range at the deadline.

It's quite pathetic that we started Arcia and almonte in lf today in a crucial series. I like almonte in panda's spot, but holy sheet... get a damn competent bat for LF. I'm not saying go get a great option, just a competent one. AA is so scared to do anything

I think he’s kinda frozen in what to do. We haven’t been over .500 for one day this season, and need a LOT of help. Do you really go for it and get impact guys in a season that you’re without Soroka, Acuna or Ozuna?

It’s happening. You know it, I know it, hell, the Braves probably know it. We can fear it, deny it, run from it...it’s coming all the same.

Phillies win. The problem isn’t just that we are 5 back. Phillies are 3.5 back so we’d have to pass them as well.

And after this week we won’t play either team again until the final six games of the season. I still think we could do it with the proper upgrades. But not looking like that will happen.

I watched the Mets broadcast during game 2 last night, and it was truly a more enjoyable experience than listening to Chip and whoever his partner is that day.

How can any non homer still be on about this. Our best player is out for the season and we have never been above 500.

We've been right below .500 with a gaping hole in LF, ****ty bullpen, offensive black hole at catcher for most of the time and starting pitching injuries. Even without Acuna, it's not out of bounds or being a homer to see whether a LF bat, TDA back and better relievers could help win the division, keep home crowds up the final two months and at least have a shot at beating Milwaukee in the NLDS. Problem is we've waited too long.

Well our pitching dug us a hole early the injuries kept us from climbing out of... it is what it is at this point. We won't make noise with this roster. You aren't wrong, but thats a lot of things that have to break just right.
