117th Congress

She's proven time and again to have zero grasp on economics. Pretty much every time she discusses it she ends up saying incorrect things. Her screed against capitalism here is a perfect example. She doesn't know what capitalism actually means.

Boston University awarding her a degree in economics is a better defense against “free” college for all than just about anything else

I don't necessarily agree with this burn, but damn it's a good one. Well played sir.

She's not entirely wrong, she's just mostly wrong. Part of the problem is just like people hear socialism and link to communism, they hear capitalism and link to Corporate Capitalism. Not all capitalism is bad, not all socialism is bad. Both systems have benefits, both systems have negatives. Typically a blending of both (see Japan) is a good idea.

I think the best way to govern is to have influences from both sides. Conservative (actual conservative, not what passes for it now) influence is needed to reign in the government from going too out of control and liberal influence is needed to give some compassion to governance.

Think of the government as parents. If both are strict, tight wads then you'll have a financially secure but unhappy childhood. Conversely, if both your parents are free spending hippies then you might have a lot of fun but you'll end up living out of a car. You need some of both.

Seriously

They are just buzzwords to these idiots.

The rise of the populist right to combat the institutionalized tyrannical left is predictable, and will continue to erode freedom for all

Hasn't SC ruled ?

don't believe so

it ruled on the NY case

regardless of legal merits, it was unfortunate to get away from the norm where presidential candidates release their tax returns...it is something that voters deserve to see

I find history fascinating.
I am still " obsessed" with Warren Harding and James Tyler.

You and yours created Trump as an historical marker.
Just own it

being anti anti trump is such a noble cause that many seem willing to dedicate their lives to it

of course no respectable anti anti trumper would be willing to admit to being pro trump (except for the refreshingly honest thethe)
