The Coronavirus, not the beer

Maybe we can cut off all welfare to poor people who aren't getting it.

And can deny any medical care to people who don't have it.

And let's allow apartments to not allow residents without it.

Certainly allow jobs to fire people who don't have it.

It's not mandating or coercion... It's incentives!

You are one of the good guys

Better yet, a great incentive could be to identify all the unclean people, escort them to facilities where they can't infect the rest of the clean society.

Thoughts?

The state with the worst covid results informs us they must continue to mandate their failed policies in order to move forward

Remember kids, the state that is 26th in death rate is the problem...

Incentives do work. I believe you have been vocal about this with respect to the enhanced unemployment benefits reducing people's willingness to work.

Agreed. Incentives matter a lot.

I think jailing people who choose not to vaccinate is a great incentive and is very just and noble

They get more emboldened as we go along with it.

Covid risk has been reduced substantially and yet many cities are imposing more restrictions than were in place before the vaccines

Only a fool think this is about public health

Great incentive. Require medical history for employment. Bring back employment discrimination asap please

I don't have a problem with a private business requiring their employees to be vaccinated. It's part of at will employment. I would carve out an exception that a doctor's note would stand in for a vaccination as there are people who have health issues that make vaccines inadvisable.

"Vaccines are working great and everyone who has one is protected!"

and also...

"If we don't get everyone vaccinated then we will shut down everything because you are endangering everyone"

I agree. I also think a private employer should be able to fire people for being gay or black if they wish

I imagine our government wouldn't go along

Funny enough though, a lot of black people will be getting fired

your concern for racial equity is duly noted
