How many pitches we shooting for for him and ynoa?

Anderson threw 47 pitches last time out - he's probably ticketed for 65ish this time around. Since he typically builds high pitch counts early in games, he probably needs two more starts AFTER this one before being activated.

Ynoa was surprisingly (to me anyway) allowed to go deeper, and he threw 68 pitches last Friday. Going to guess he's allowed to throw 80-85 depending on how stressful they are.

Going to be really interesting to see how AA chooses to handle things - probably depends a lot on how Touki and Muller's starts go tonight and tomorrow, but if things go well he could probably replace one of those guys next time through. Would still really love to see them transition Touki to a once-through-a-lineup guy - I think he could be a real weapon if he were to be used kinda like the Brewers used to use Hader. He could really make things so much easier to manage - if today's SP is struggling after getting through the 3rd inning he could shut things down and get you to the back end of the pen, AND three days later he could come in and pitch the 8th and 9th if Fried/Anderson/Ynoa gave you 7 so your Closer and set-up guy get that day off.

Another perfect inning for Indigo Diaz with 2 Ks. I wonder how aggressive they’ll be with him.

Doesn’t seem crazy to push him to Gwinnett and see if has it in him to help the big league team down the stretch. Unlikely I’m sure, but he keeps having huge success at every level.

He could hold his own for sure. If he'd have never moved to a closer rule in college, he may have never been discovered. He went from terrible starter to lights out reliever. Much to like.

Diaz had an awesome second year as a starting pitcher at Iowa Western CC (11-1, 1.52 ERA, 101 K, 20 BB, 65 IP), but wasn't drafted. His season was such that it would be difficult to believe that he wasn't on someone's radar. Wasn't very good at Michigan State.

Great start for Alan Rangel for Mississippi tonight. It seems like he's been in the system forever, but has been slow to move up the line.

That's what I mean 50. He was a middling to terrible starter at M STATE. Love his trajectory though. Not only is he able to hit a good number on the radar gun, his FB seems to really explode. That's not hyperbole...it has life.
