It's been a surreal couple of days. I've been wearing a Braves hat around and have been randomly approached by fellow fans. A woman stopped me in the produce section of the grocery store to do the chop. A truck driver came over in the waiting room of the tire shop just to swap tales about the team.
There's a sense of family in the fan base. We're connected in a way I haven't seen in a long, long time.
